Good morning everyone! I’m really excited today because I’m participating in my very first blogger series ever! It’s being hosted by the extremely talented Allison from The Cupcake Diaries! We met a while back at the most recent SNAP conference and when I learned about this Halloween Series going on at her blog, I had the perfect project in mind!
I actually made this banner for last years halloween decorations, but I love it so much that I pulled it out again this year! It’s honestly a timeless piece with black damask, orange glitter paper, and lots of spooky transparencies!
I’m not going to lie to you all, this project definitely took some time, but it was time well spent! The first step is to cut out your pennants. Take a 12×12 piece of paper and cut 6 4×3 rectangles from it. Then cut a triangle out of the bottom so you get a pennant shape.
Then I printed out my letters on to manila folders that were trimmed to 8.5x11in. I used an old digital alpha from the awesome but out of business House Of Three. It was perfect for this halloween project. Decorate each of your pennants and then sew together!
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the other bloggers in the series!!
